Holistic Presence and Therapies for Hospice Patients

Learn how to use touch, aromatherapy and guided imagery to help the patients and families of those in hospice care. We stress treating each person as an individual (holistically) and not focus on their disease but their comfort and their life, rather than their death.

Assembling an Essential Oil First Aid Kit

Basics of Aromatherapy

This program is intended to give an overview of the art and science of aromatherapy. We discuss definitions, terminology, clinical reviews, and the basics of blending. Handouts are included. Fees to be arranged at time of scheduling.

Essential Oils from the Garden

This program focuses on the plants that essential oils are extracted from. Participants are taught how to make an herbal infusion and an essential oil spray mist. Fees to be arranged at time of scheduling.

Tea for Health and Wellness

This program explores the essential oils found in many teas. A tasting of unique healthy teas makes this a wonderful winter program! Informational handouts are provided and it is possible to make products for the bath made from tea. Fees to be arranged at time of scheduling.

The Therapeutic Use of Essential Oils

This program is for those looking for clinical information on the use of essential oils. A 1-2 hour informative presentation with essential oil demonstrations and educational handouts. Fees to be arranged at time of scheduling.
